Damn Helicopter
Right now i’m trying to study but the constant noise of a helicopter flying overhead is EXTREMELY distracting and annoying. The reason the helicopter’s there? Well, it’s the night before hallowe’en and people have been letting of fireworks. So the Garda send a helicopter up to monitor and scare people. The reason’s my window’s open? The heat in my building is constantly stuck on at full blast.
The legalisation of fireworks may stop people getting injured, but we live in a hypocrital society. We can injure ourselves many other ways (excessive alcohol, smoking, driving) but not this way. Alcohol and smoking have far more detrimental effects on society than a few fireworks lighting up the sky.
If people want to be idiots and play around with matches and fireworks, then they should be allowed to do so. Otherwise you’re disrupting natural selection!
